সন্ধ্যা নামে
—শিল্পিত পারু
ধীরে নেমে গেলে সূর্য রেশ তার থাকে ক্ষণকাল
তারপর ছুটে যায় কাক আরও কিছু পাখি ;
এইসব উঁচু উঁচু দালানের কোনে বসে কি যেন ভাবে
তারপর উড়ে যায় দূরে আরো দূরে ;
যেদিকে নিভে গেছে আলো তার আল ধরে নীড় খোঁজে বুঝি?
ঘরে ফেরা পাখি কোথায় তোমার নীড়?
তখনও যেটুক আলো জ্বলে আছে ছোঁয়া লাগে তার
এইখানে এই আকাশের কাছে বসে ভাবি
যে সন্ধ্যা নেমেছে আজ রুপ কি তার লেগে থাকে গায়
শুধু নয় আঁধারের শুরু,
সন্ধ্যা মানেতো ছোট বুকে কেঁপে ওঠা ভয়;
আর কোনদিন আলো আসবেনা জেনে ভেসে ওঠা বুকে
আবার আলো আসে, তবু বন্ধ হয় না আবার সন্ধ্যা আসে
ধীরে নেমে আসা সন্ধ্যায় এখন ভরা শহরের আঙিনা
এইখানে এই বসন্ত শিহরে বসে আকাশের কাছাকাছি
আমি চেয়ে থাকি পশ্চিমের বারান্দায় !
আলো নিভে গিয়ে প্রতিদিন এইখানে নেমে আসে নরম সন্ধ্যা
আমি থাকি বসে কাক আর ছোট নিশ্চুপ উঁচু এক দেয়ালের ধারে
তারপর পাখিদের মতো উড়ে উড়ে খুঁজি জীবনের নীড়
আমার ডানায় লেগে থাকা সুর আর বেজে ওঠা গান
আকাশ ফুটে আছে আকাশের মত ভরে যাওয়া প্রাণ ।
এইসব সন্ধ্যা আলো হয়ে ওঠে ধীরে;
তারপর ফিরে আসি আমি পাখিদের মতো নীড়ে !!
