ডালিমের মত জীবন
আমি ভুলে যেতে চাই সহসা আতর মাখা ফুল
যেখানে আগুন ছিল যেখানে ক্ষেত ছিল লাল
এখন এই আদম গাছের তলে
কত থোকা থোকা মানুষ ঝরে আছে;
আমি জানি এই কাল অমোঘ নিধুমের কালে
চুয়ে চুয়ে যে রং আজ নেমে এল সন্ধ্যায়
সেখানে একটা মুখ শূন্য মুখ ছিল
এর আগে যা কখনো উঠেনি জ্বলে !
সন্তানের মত একটা শরীর
একটা নিশপিশে ঠোঁট একটা হালকা কান্না ;
আমি তো ভুলে যেতে চাই আষাঢ়ের মতো
আবারো ব্যথা এসে তাদেরই নিঝুম তলে
সহসা ঝরে পড়ে ডালিমের মতো
মৃত্যু ছাড়া কি আছে আর এমন উষ্ণ!
অনেক টেউয়ের মত জেগে ওঠে আলোদের প্রাণ
বাঁকা কাছিমের মত বোধ চেপে ধরে বুক
ফানুসের মত নেমে আসে এক অবশ অসুখ
পাঁজরের বুক কাঁদে আচমকা না পেলে পাঁজরের ঘ্রাণ !
যতই আকাশ হোক হৃদয়ের ক্ষত তবু সেতো আমারি জয়
জীবন ছাড়া কে দেবে আর এমন সুতীব্র হারানোর ভয় !
