পারভেজ সেলিম
বর্তমান সময়ে যে কয়েকজন পরিচালক ইরানী সিনেমাকে বিশ্বের সামনে উচু করে তুলে ধরেছেন, যাদের কারনে গোটা বিশ্বের মানুষ সিনেমার এক নতুন বিষ্ময়ের সাথে পরিচিত হয়েছে তাদেরই একজন হচ্ছেন মাজিদ মাজিদি। ৬১ বছর বয়সি এই পরিচালক এ পর্যন্ত মাত্র ১০ টি পূর্ন্যদৈর্ঘ্য সিনেমা বানিয়েছেন। যার প্রত্যেকটি দারুণ প্রশংসিত হয়েছে সারাবিশ্বে।
ছোট বিষয়কে সহজ ভাষায় প্রকাশ করার এক বিশেষ সিনেমাটিক ভাষা সৃষ্টি করেছেন তিনি। যা ইরানি সিনেমাকে নিয়ে গেছে অন্য উচ্চতায়। ১৯৯২ সালে ‘বাদুক’ নামের এক সিনেমা দিয়ে তার এই যাত্রা শুরু। এরপর তিনি বানাতে থাকেন দারুণ সব সিনেমা। আজ আমরা তার ৫ টি সেরা সিনেমার দিকে নজর দিবো।
৫.বারান :
লতিফ নামের ১৭ বছরের এক যবুক কাজ করে ইরান-আফগান সীমান্তের এক নির্মাণাধীন দালানে। সেখানে আফগান শরনার্থী আরেক যুবকও কাজ করেন যার নাম রহমত। লফিত একদিন আবিস্কার করেন রহমত ছেলে নয় মেয়ে, তারা আসল নাম ‘বারান’। যেহেতু মেয়েদের বাহিরে কাজ করা নিয়ে বিধিনিষেধ আছে, তাই বাধ্য হয়ে ‘বারান’ ছেলে সেজে এখানে কাজ করে। ধীরে ধীরে লতিফ প্রেমে পড়ে বারানের। তারপর গল্পে শুরু হয় সংকট। সংকট সমাধানে লতিফ প্রাণপন চেষ্টা চালায়। ভালোবাসা আর মহানুভবতার এক অসামাণ্য সিনেমা এই ‘বারান’। সিনেমাটি মুক্তি পায় ২০০১ সালে। দেশে বিদেশে প্রসংশায় ভাসতে থাকে সিনেমাটি।
৪.সং অফ স্প্যারো :
উটপাখির খামারে কাজ করেন করিম । তিন সন্তান আর স্ত্রীকে নিয়ে তার সুখের সংসার। একদিন একট উটপাখি খামার থেকে পালিয়ে গেলে চাকরি চলে যায়। বড় মেয়ের নষ্ট হওয়া কানে শোনার যন্ত্র কিনতে শহরে যায় করিম । সেখানে কাজ জুটে যায় করিমে। এখানে এসেই সে জীবনের আরেক দিক উন্মোচিত হয় করিমের । গ্রামের সহজ জীবন পেরিয়ে করিমের পরিচয় ঘটে লোভ নামক ভয়ংকর অনুভুতির সাথে। আর তারপরই ঘটে দূর্ঘটনা। ফিরে আসে তার আগের সততার জীবনে। নিজের ছেলের ভিতরেও সেই সততা আর ভালোবাসার গুন দেখে মুগ্ধ হয় করিম। জীবনের নানা রং আর উপলব্ধির এক অন্যন্য সিনেমা ‘সং অফ স্প্যারো’। সিনেমাটি মুক্তি পায় ২০০৮ সালে ।

৩. কালার অব পারাডাইস :
এটি একটি অন্ধ ছেলের জীবনের গল্প। এতটা করুণ এবং মমর্মান্তিক গল্প আপনাকে বিমর্ষ করে দেবে। মোহাম্মদ চরিত্রে অসাধারণ অভিনয় করেছেন মোহসেন রামেজানি, যে বাস্তবে জীবনেও চোখে দেখতে পারে না । সিনেমাটি দেখতে বসে আপনার মনে হতে পারে এটি মোহসেনের নিজের জীবনেরই প্রামাণ্যচিত্র। এত সাবলীল আর বাস্তব অভিনয় খুব কম অভিনেতাই করতে পারেন ।
মা হারা মোহাম্মাদের প্রিয় মানুষ তার বাবা নয় তার দাদি ও দুই বোন। স্কুল ছুটিতে বাবা বাধ্য হয়ে তাকে নিয়ে আসে তার প্রিয় গ্রামের বাড়িতে।
বাবা এই অন্ধ ছেলের ভবিষ্যত নিয়ে চিন্তিত। তাই ছেলেকে প্রথমে শহরের অন্ধদের স্কুলে পাঠিয়েছিল। পরে তাকে কাজ শিখতে এক অন্ধ কাঠ মিস্ত্রীর কাছে পাঠায়। সেখানে গিয়ে একা হয়ে যায় মোহাম্মদ।একদিন এক পুকুরের ধারে বসে মোহাম্মাদ তার দু;খের কথাগুলো বলে বলতে থাকে। সেই দৃশ্যটি সিনেমায় এক করুণ পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করে। আপনাকে কাঁদিয়ে দিতে পারে মোহাম্মাদের এই অসাধারণ কথাগুলো।
সিনেমাটি শেষ হয় মর্মান্তিক এক দুর্ঘটনার মধ্যে দিয়ে। যতবার আপনি এই সিনেমা দেখবেন ততবার আপনার মন বেদনায় ভারাক্রান্ত হবে। মোহাম্মাদের দু:খ আপনাকে কাঁদিয়ে ছাড়বে।
মাজিদির এই সিনেমাটি মুক্তি পায় ১৯৯৯ সালে। চরিত্রগুলোর সাবলিল অভিনয়, পাহাড় ও ফুলের অসাধারণ রং আর অন্ধ মোহাম্মাদের দু:খ সিনেমাটিকে এক অন্যন্য উচ্চতায় নিয়ে গেছে।
২. মোহাম্মাদ : দ্যা ম্যাসেঞ্জার অফ গড
শেষ নবী হয়রত মোহাম্মাদ সা. এর জীবন নিয়ে তিনটি সিনেমা বানানো পরিকল্পনা করেন মাজিদি। ছোটবেলা,যুবক বয়স এবং নবুয্যত লাভের পর। তার প্রথমটি মুক্তি পায় ২০১৫ সালে । ইরানীর সবচেয়ে ব্যয়বহুল সিনেমা এই ‘মোহাম্মাদ’। সিনেমাটি বানাতে খরচ হয়েছে ৩৫০ কোটি টাকা ।
মহানবীর জীবন নিয়ে আরো কিছু সিনেমা এবং টিভি সিরিজ নির্মিত হয়েছে। কিন্তু কোথাও ওনার ছোট বেলার কাহিনী সেভাবে দেখা যায়নি। এই সিনেমাটি ব্যতিক্রম। শেষ নবীর জন্ম ও বেড়ে ওঠা চমৎকারভাবে ফুটে উঠেছে ।
সিনেমাটির সিনেমাটোগ্রাফি অসাধারণ। আর সিনেমাটি সঙ্গীত করেছিলেন ভারতের এর আর রহমান ।
ইসলামের প্রথমদিকের খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ন চরিত্রগুলো এত সুন্দর করে ফুটে উঠেছে যে আপনার চোখকে দারুণ আনন্দ দেবে।
আবাবিল পাখির কাবা ঘরকে বাঁচানোর দৃশ্য, হাতি বাহিনী ফিরে যাবার দৃশ্য কিংবা মহানবীর জন্মের রাতের দৃশ্য সিনেমায় ইতিহাসে অসাধারণ সব দৃশ্য হয়ে থাকবে।
১. চিলড্রেন অফ হ্যাভেন:
মাজিদির সিনেমা সববেচয়ে বড় সৌন্দয্য হচ্ছে সহজ সাধারন গল্পকে অসাধারণ করে ফুটিয়ে তোলা। সেই কাজটি তিন সবচেয়ে ভালো করেছেন তার চিলড্রেন অব হ্যাভেন সিনেমাতে ।’ আমার দেখা মাজিদির শ্রেষ্ট সিনেমা এটি।
ইরানের দরিদ্র এক পরিবারের বড় ছেলে আলী। ছোট বোনের ছেড়া জুতা বাজার থেকে সেলাই করে আনার সময় ভুলে করে হারিয়ে ফেলে। এই জুতা হারানো ও উদ্ধারের গল্প দিয়ে পরিচালক গোটা ইরানী সমাজের দারুণ মুল্যবোধে এক চিত্র ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন।
সিনেমাটিতে আলী চরিত্রে অসাধারণ অভিনয় করেছে আমির ফারুক হাসিমিয়ান। আর তার বোনে চরিত্রে বাহারি সিদ্দিকী। আলী বাবার চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেছেন মাজিদির সবচেয়ে প্রিয় অভিনেতা মোহাম্মাদ আমীর নাজি ।
মাজেদির এই সিনেমাটি মুক্তি পায় ১৯৯৮ সালে। প্রথম কোন ইরানী সিনেমা যা অস্কারে জন্য মনোনয়ন পেয়েছিল তবে এখানে পুরস্কার না পেলেও শ্রেষ্ট সিনেমার মর্যাদা লাভ করেছিল কান ফেস্টিবলে। সিনেমাটি বানাতে দেড় কোটি টাকা খরচ হয়চিল আর সারা বিশ্ব থেকে আয় করেছিল ১৪ কোটি টাকা ।
শুধু ‘চিলড্রেন অব হ্যাভেন’ বিস্তারিত আছে আমাদের আরেকটি লেখায় চাইলে আপনার পড়তে পারেন।
