২০১৮ সালে ব্রিটিশ সংবাদমাধ্যম ‘বিবিসি’, ইংরেজি ভাষার বাইরে পৃথিবীর  সেরা ১০০চলচ্চিত্রের  তালিকা তৈরি করেছে। আর এমন বিশাল কাজের জন্য তারা ৪৩টি দেশ  থেকে ৪১ টি ভিন্ন ভাষার মোট ২০৯ জন চলচ্চিত্র বিশেষজ্ঞের দারস্থ হয়েছিলেন।

২৪ দেশের ১৯টি ভাষার ৬৭ জন চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাতার ১০০টি সিনেমা এই তালিকায় জায়গা পায়।আর তালিকায় সবচেয়ে বেশি  রয়েছে ফরাসি ভাষার সিনেমা।এ ভাষার ২৭টি সিনেমা জায়গা পেয়েছে তালিকায়।১২টি ছবি নিয়ে  দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে রয়েছে মান্দারিন ভাষা।ইতালিয়ান ও জাপানিজ ছবি আছে  যথাক্রমে ১১টি করে। এ তালিকায় ৬৭ জন নির্মাতার মধ্যে মাত্র চারটি ছবির নির্মাতা নারী।

সেরা ১০০ ছবির তালিকায় পূর্ব এশিয়ার দেশগুলো থেকে ২৫টি  ছবি ঠাঁই পেয়েছে। এরমধ্যে জাপানের ১১টি, চীন (৬), তাইওয়ান (৪), হংকং (৩),  এবং দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া থেকে ১টি ছবি নেওয়া হয়েছে। তালিকায় ফরাসী ভাষার সর্বোচ্চ  ২৭টি ছবি জায়গা পেয়েছে। জাপানের পাশপাশি ইতালীয় ভাষার মোট ১১টি ছবি রয়েছে।

ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশ থেকে শুধুমাত্র সত্যজিৎ রায়ের অমর সৃষ্টি ‘পথের  পাঁচালী’ সেরার তালিকায় ঠাঁই পেয়েছে। তালিকায় ছবিটির অবস্থান ১৫। দেখা যাক  আর কোন কোন ছবি জায়গা পেয়েছে সেরা বিদেশী ভাষার ছবির তালিকায়-

    You should look at Yahoo’s front page and watch how
    they create news titles to get people to click. You might add a video or a related picture or two to get people excited about
    everything’ve got to say. In my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
