পারভেজ সেলিম ।।
ইসলামের প্রধানতম ব্যক্তি হলেন হয়রত মুহাম্মদ (সা.)। ইসলাম প্রচারের জন্য নানা প্রতিকুলতার মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হয়েছে এই মহামানবকে।
মহানবী তার ৬৩ বছরের জীবনে মোট ১০১টি যুদ্ধ বা অভিযান পরিচালনা করেছেন। যার মধ্যে ২৮ টিতে তিনি সরাসরি অংশ নিয়েছিলেন আর বাকি ৭৩ টি পাঠিয়েছিলেন প্রতিনিধি।
নবুয়্যত লাভের পরের ২৩ বছর প্রকাশ্যে ইসলাম প্রচারের কাজে ব্যয় করেছেন আল্লাহর এই শেষ রাসুল। যার মধ্যে শেষ দশ বছর যুদ্ধ, আক্রমণ আর অভিযানে অনেক সময় ব্যয় করতে হয়েছে ইসলামের প্রধান এই ব্যাক্তিকে।
বছরে ১০ টি ছোট বড় যুদ্ধ পরিচালনা করেছেন তিনি। আর গড়ে প্রায় তিনটি যুদ্ধ বা সমারিক অভিযানের সরাসরি নেতৃত্ব তিনি দিয়েছিলেন যুদ্ধের ময়দানে গিয়ে।
ইসলামের প্রথম প্রতিরোধ বা অভিযান ছিল কুরাইশদের একটি কাফেলাকে বাধা দেয়া। সেটি করেছিলেন মহানবীর চাচা হামজা ইবনে আবু মোত্তালিব। আর এর সময়কালটি ছিল মহানবীর হিযরতের বছর মানে ৬২২ খ্রি. এর প্রথম দিকে। অভিযানের নাম ছিল ’সায়িইয়া সায়ফুল’।
যে অভিযান বা যুদ্ধে মহানবী নিজে অংশ নিয়েছেন তাকে বলা হয় ‘গাজওয়া’ আর যেগুলোতে প্রতিনিধি পাঠিয়েছেন তাকে বলা হয় ‘সায়িইয়া’।
মহানবীর নেতৃত্বে প্রথম অভিযানটি ছিল ’গাযওয়া ওয়াদ্দান’। এই অভিযানের পতাকাবাহিও ছিলেন হামজা ইবনে আবু মোত্তালিব।
ইসলামের প্রথম বড় যুদ্ধ বা গাজওয় হল ‘বদরের যুদ্ধ’। মহানবীর জীবনের এমন গুরুত্বপু্র্ণ ১০টি যুদ্ধের দিকে এবার নজর দেয়া যাক।
বদরের যুদ্ধ: ইসলামের প্রথম যুদ্ধ
মুসলমানদের প্রথম বড় যুদ্ধটি হলো বদরের যুদ্ধ। ৬২৪ সালের ১৩ বা ১৭ ই মার্চ এই যুদ্ধটি হয় মুসলমান ও মক্কার কুরাইশদের সাথে। দিনটি ছিল আরবি রমজান মাসের ১৭ তারিখ। হিজরতের দুই বছর পর যখন ইসলামের প্রথম যুদ্ধটি সংগঠিত হয় তখন মহানবীর বয়স ৫৪ বছর।
মক্কা ও মদীনার মধ্যবর্তী স্থান হচ্ছে বদর, যা মদীনা থেকে ৮০ মাইল দুরের একটি জায়গা। কুরাইশদের অত্যাচারে শেষনবী মক্কা থেকে মদীনায় যেতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেন মাত্র বছর দুয়েক আগে। সেই অত্যাচার পরবর্তীতে রুপ নেয় যুদ্ধে। কিন্তু কেন এই যুদ্ধ?
যুদ্ধের কারণ :
যুদ্ধের সুত্রপাত একটি বাণিজ্যিক কাফেলাকে বাধা দেয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে। মক্কার ধনী ব্যবসায়ী আবু সুফিয়ান এক বিশাল কাফেলা নিয়ে সিরিয়া থেকে মক্কা ফিরছিলেন বলে খবর আসে মদিনায়। সেই কাফেলায় অনেক অস্ত্রশস্ত্র ছিল যা পরবতীতে মুসলমানদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবহার করা হবে বলে জনশ্রুত ছিল।
এই খবর মদীনায় যখন পৌঁছালো, তখন সিরিয়া ফেরত সেই অস্ত্রবাহী কাফেলাকে বাধা দেবার মনস্থির করলেন মহানবী। তাই মুসলমানদের একটি দলকে রওয়ানা হবার নির্দেশ প্রদান করলেন। কিন্তু চতুর আবু সুফিয়ান তার কাফেলা নিয়ে ভিন্ন পথ দিয়ে নিরাপদে মক্কার দিকে ফিরতে থাকলেন।
এদিকে মক্কায় তখন গুজব রটে যায় মুসলমানেরা আবু সুফিয়ানের কাফেলাকে আক্রমণ করেছে। আর সেই আক্রমণ ঠেকানোর জন্য মক্কার প্রভাবশালী নেতা আবু জেহেলের নেতৃত্বে ১৩০০ জনের একটি সৈন্যদল গঠন করেন কুরাইশরা। মুল কারণ সেই কাফেলায় মক্কার বড় ব্যসায়ীদের অর্থ লগ্নি করা ছিল।
উতবা ইবনে রাবিয়া, উমাইয়া ইবনে খালাফ সহ মক্কার সকল অভিজাত ব্যক্তি যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেন। এছাড়া কুরাইশদের আরেক নেতা আবু লাহাব যুদ্ধে না গেলেও তার প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে এক দাসকে মুক্তি দিয়ে পাঠিয়েছিলেন।
পরে যখন তারা জানতে পারে খবরটি সত্য নয় তবুও তারা যুদ্ধের সিদ্ধান্তে অটল থাকেন। মুসলমানদের উচিত শিক্ষা দেবার জন্য ও নিজেদের শক্তি প্রদর্শনের জন্য রমজান মাসে তারা অগ্রসর হতে থাকে বদরের দিকে। ১৭ রমজান শুরু হয় ইসলামের প্রথম বড় যুদ্ধ ‘বদরের যুদ্ধ’।
যুদ্ধের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র :
এই যুদ্ধে মুসলমানেরা সংখ্যায় ছিল মাত্র ৩১৩ জন। যার মধ্যে মাত্র ৮০ জন ছিলেন মুজাহির বা মক্কা থেকে মদিনায় যাওয়া মুসলমান আর বাকিরা ছিলেন আনসার বা মদিনার মুসলমান। এছাড়া যুদ্ধে মুসলমাদের উট ছিল ৭০ টি আর ঘোড়া ছিল মাত্র ২ টি।
অন্য দিকে কুরাইশদের সৈন্য সংখ্যা প্রথমে ১৩০০ থাকলেও পরে ৩০০ জন মক্কায় ফিরে যাওয়ায় যুদ্ধের দিন সৈন্য সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় ১০০০। ১০০ ঘোড়া ও ৭০০ উটের বিশাল বহর নিয়ে যুদ্ধের ময়দানে আসে কুরাইশরা।
খোলাফায়ে রাশিদুনের মাত্র একজন হয়রত উসমান (রা.) স্ত্রীর অসুস্থতার কারণে এই যুদ্ধে অংশ নিতে না পারলেও বাকি তিনজনই অংশ নিয়েছিলেন এই যুদ্ধে। আর খালিদ বিন ওয়ালিদ ইসলামের প্রথম যুদ্ধে মুসলমানদের বিপক্ষে অস্ত্র ধরেছিলেন কারণ তখনও তিনি ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেননি।
যুদ্ধের দিন :
বদরের যুদ্ধ একদিনে যুদ্ধ। সকালে একটি পানির কুয়ার নিয়ন্ত্রণ নেয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে সূচনা হয় বদরের যুদ্ধের, যা আগে থেকে মুসলমানদের দখলে ছিল। এই নিয়ন্ত্রণকে কেন্দ্র করে হামজার হাতে নিহত হন কুরাশই আসওয়াদ ইবনে আবদুল আসাদ মাখজুমি। এটাই বদর যুদ্ধের প্রথম মৃত্যু। এরপরে শুরু আনুষ্ঠানিক যুদ্ধ।
মুসলমানদের মধ্য আনসাররা প্রথম এগিয়ে যায় যুদ্ধে। কিন্তু কুরাইশরা আনসারদের সাথে লড়াই করতে চান না, তারা যুদ্ধ করতে চান মুজাহিরদের সাথে। কারণ কুরাইশরা তাদের মুল শত্রু গণ্য করে মক্কা থেকে হিজরতে আসা মুসলমানদেরকে।
পরবর্তীতে মহানবীর নির্দেশে দ্বন্দ যুদ্ধে অংশ নেন তিনজন সাহসী মুজাহির। তারা হলেন হামজা ইবনে আবু মোত্তালিব, উবাইদা ইবনে হারিস ও হয়রত আলী। শুরু হয় যুদ্ধ।
এরপর দ্বন্দ যুদ্ধে হামজার সাথে শাইবা ইবনে রাবিয়া, আলীর সাথে ওয়ালিদ ও উবাইদার সাথে উতবা ইবনে রাবিয়া।
যুদ্ধে কুরাইশদের তিনজনই নিহত হয়। হামজার হাতে শাইবা, আলীর হাতে নিহত হন আল ওয়ালিদ। অন্যদিকে উবাইদা আহত হলে তার সাহায্যে এগিয়ে আসে হামজা আর আলী। শেষ পর্যন্ত দ্বন্দ যুদ্ধে পরাজিত হয় কুরাইশরা। যুদ্ধ শেষে কয়েকদিন পর মারা যান উবাইদা।
দ্বন্দ যুদ্ধে পরাজিত হলে মুসলমানদের উপর আক্রমণ শুরু করে কুরাইশরা। শুরু হয় দুপক্ষের তুমুল লড়াই।
যুদ্ধে একে একে কুরাইশদের বড় নেতারা নিহত হয়।
কুরাইশ নেতা ও মুসলমানদের প্রধান শত্রু আবু জেহেল নিহত হন মুয়াজ ইবনে আমর ও মুয়াজ ইবনে আফরার হাতে।
বিল্লালের হাতে নিহত হন তার মনিব উমাইয়া ইবনে খালাফ আর উমরের হাতে নিহত হন তার মামা আস ইবন হিশাম।
প্রধান তিন নেতার মৃত্যুতে কুরাইশদের মনোবল ভেঙ্গে পড়ে, তারা পিছু হটতে শুরু করে। শেষ পর্যন্ত পরাজয় বরণ করে কুরাইশরা। ইসলামের প্রথম যুদ্ধে জয়লাভ করে মুসলমানেরা।
যুদ্ধে শহীদ হন ১৪ জন মুসলমান আর কুরাইশদের নিহত হন ৭০ জন।
যুদ্ধের পর :
কুরাইশদের ৭০ জন যোদ্ধাকে বন্দি করা হয়, যাদের মধ্যে দুইজনকে পরে মৃত্যুদন্ড প্রদাণ করা হয়। জীবিত যুদ্ধবন্দির মধ্যে মহানবীর মেয়ে জয়নবের স্বামী আবুল আসও ছিলেন। জয়নবকে মদীনায় আসতে বাধা দেবে না, এই শর্তে পরে তাকে মুক্তি দেয়া হয়।
যুদ্ধবন্দিদের প্রতি কঠোর আচরণের প্রস্তাব দিয়েছিলেন হয়রত উমর (রা.)। অন্যদিকে আবু বকর (রা.) যুদ্ধবন্দিদের প্রতি ছিলেন বেশ সহানুভুতিশীল। মহানবী আবু বকরের প্রস্তাব গ্রহণ করেন। সবার সাথে ভালো আচরণ করার জন্য নির্দেশ প্রদান করেন।
হয়রত উমর সবাইকে হত্যা করে মুশরিকদের শিক্ষা দিতে চেয়েছিলেন। মক্কার সুবক্তা সুহাইল ইবনে আসরের দাঁত ভেঙ্গে দিতে চেয়েছিলেন যাতে তিনি ইসলামের বিরুদ্ধে তার বাগ্মীতা জারি রাখতে না পারেন।
কিন্তু কোন ধরনের কঠোর সিদ্ধান্তে সায় দেননি মহানবী। তিনি বিভিন্ন শর্তে যুদ্ধ বন্দিদের মুক্তি দেন। যাদের অনেকেই পরে ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেছিলেন।
কুরআনে সূরা আল ইমরান ও সূরা আনফালে এই বদর যুদ্ধের কথা বলা আছে।
বদর যুদ্ধ জয়ের ফলে মুসলমানরা আরবে নতুন শক্তি হিসেবে আবির্ভুত হয়। মহানবী একজন শক্তিশালী নেতা হিসেবে সমর্থন লাভ করেন সাধারণ মক্কাবাসীর। ইসলামের প্রথম যুদ্ধে জয়লাভ মুসলমানদের আত্নবিশ্বাসকে কয়েকগুন বাড়িয়ে দেয়। ইসলামে বদর যুদ্ধের প্রভাব অপরিসীম।
