ফিলিস্তিন ভুখন্ড চারটি দেশের সীমান্তের সাথে যুক্ত। এর পশ্চিমে ভুমধ্য সাগর, পুর্বে জর্ডান। উত্তরে সিরিয়া ও লেবানন আর গোলান মালভুমি, দক্ষিনে মিশর ও সিনাই উপত্যাকা।
ফিলিস্তিনের মোট আয়তন ছিল ২৮ হাজার ৯২ বর্গকিলোমিটার। যা এখন অবশিষ্ট আছে মাত্র ৬ হাজার ২০ বর্গকিলোমিটার । বাকি ২২ হাজার ৭২ বর্গকিলোমিটার ইসরা্য়েলের দখলে । ইসরায়েল এখন ফিলিস্তিনের চেয়ে সাড়ে তিন গুন বড় ।
১৯৪৭ এর আগে পুরো জমির মালিক ছিল ফিলিস্তিন। ১৯৪৮ এসে তা ভাগ হয়ে যায় ৪৪ শতাংশে। ১৯৬৭ তে এসে তা নেমে যায় ২২ শতাংশে। আর বর্তমানে ফিলিস্তিনের দখলে আছে মাত্র ১৫ শতাংশ ভুমি।
গাজা ও পশ্চিম তীর এই দুটি বিচ্ছিন্ন ভুখন্ড নিয়ে এখন ফিলিস্তিন। ধীরে ধীরে ভূমির পরিমান আরো কমছে।ইসরায়েল জোর করে ভুমি দখল শুরু করে দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের পর ।
ফিলিস্তিনের ব্যর্থতা শুরু :
ইসরায়েল ও ফিলিস্তিনিদের কাছে ক্ষমতা দিয়ে ব্রিটেন চলে যায় ১৯৪৮ সালে ১৫ মে। সেই দিনকে স্বাধীনতা দিবস হিসবে ঘোষণা করে ইসরায়েলিরা।
এই অন্যায় অবিচারের প্রতিবাদে এবার একসাথে ফুঁসে ওঠে আরবরা। সেইদিনই ৬টি আরব দেশ একসাথে আক্রমণ করে ইসরায়েলকে। শুরু হয় ইসরায়েল-আরব প্রথম যুদ্ধ।
মিশর, জর্ডান, সিরিয়া, লেবানন, ইরাক ও সৌদি আরবের আক্রমণে পালাতে থাকে ইসরায়েলিরা।পুনরুদ্ধার হতে থাকে দখল করা ফিলিস্তিনি ভূখন্ড।
রাজধানী তেল আবিবে কোনঠাসা ইসরায়েল যখন পরাজয়ের দ্বারপ্রান্তে তখনই ঘটে বিপত্তি। জাতিসংঘ থেকে যুদ্ধ বিরতির জন্য চাপ আসে দুপক্ষের কাছে। এবার আরবরা তাদের দ্বিতীয় ভুলটি করে। ইসরাইলকে পুরোপুরি পরাস্ত না করেই যুদ্ধবিরতি মেনে নেয়। হেরে যাওয়া ইসরায়েল আবারো প্রাণ ফিরে পায়।
চেকোস্লোভাকিয়ার কাছ থেকে অবৈধভাবে অস্ত্র গোলাবারুদ সংগ্রহ করে আবারো যুদ্ধ শুরু করে ইসরায়েল। এবার পিছু হটতে বাধ্য হয় আরব বিশ্ব। প্রথম যুদ্ধই পরাজয় বরণ করে আরবরা। ফলাফল ফিলিস্তিন ভাগ হয়ে যায় তিন ভাগে।
জর্ডান দখলে রাখে পশ্চিম তীর ও পশ্চিম জেরুজালেম, মিশর দখল করে রাখে গাজা, আর ইসরায়েল দখল করে নেয় ফিলিস্তিনের ৭৮ শতাংশ জমি। সাথে নিজেদের দখলে নেয় মুসলমান ও ইহুদী দুইধর্মের পবিত্র ভূমি পুর্ব-জেরুজালেম।
৭ লক্ষ ফিলিস্তিনি তাদের ঘরবাড়ি ছেড়ে উদ্বাস্তু হয়ে যায়। বাকিরা নিজ ভুখন্ডে পরবাসী হতে শুরু করে। শুরু হয় ফিলিস্তিনিদের অনন্তকালের দূর্ভোগ।এই দিনটিকে তারা পালন করে ‘নাকবা’ বা বিপর্যয়ের দিন’ হিসেবে। আর ইসরায়েল পালন করে তাদের ‘স্বাধীনতা দিবস’ হিসেবে।
ছয়দিনেই পুরো ফিলিস্তিন দখল:
আরবদের সাথে ইসরায়েলের যুদ্ধ হয় মোট চারটি । ১৯৪৮, ১৯৫৬, ১৯৬৭, ১৯৭৩। সব কয়টি যুদ্ধেই জয়ী হয় ইসরায়েল। আমেরিকা ও ইউরোপের মদদ পুষ্ট ইসরায়েলের সাথে শক্তিতে পেরে ওঠেনা গোটা আরব বিশ্ব।
১৯৬৭ সালের জুন মাসে হয় ইসরায়েল- আরব তৃতীয় যুদ্ধ। মাত্র ছয় দিনে হেরে যায় আরবরা। ইতিহাসে এটি ‘ছয়দিনের যুদ্ধ’ নামে পরিচিত। সিরিয়া ও জর্ডানকে হটিয়ে দিয়ে এবার পুরো ফিলিস্তিনিই দখল করে নেয় ইহুদীরা। নিজ দেশ থেকে এবার সম্পূর্নরুপে বিতাড়িত হয়ে যায় ফিলিস্তিনিরা।
মাত্র পঞ্চাশ বছর আগে মানবিকতার কারনে যাদের ঠাঁই দিয়েছিল সেই ইহুদীদের কাছেই নিজভুমি হারাতে হয় ফিলিস্তিনিদের।
ফিলিস্তিনীদের জন্য আর এক ইঞ্চি জায়গাও মুক্ত থাকে না। পুরো ফিলিস্তিন জুড়ে বসতি স্থাপন শুরু করে ইসরায়েলিরা।
জাতিসংঘ এটিকে অবৈধ ও অন্যায় আগ্রাসন মনে করে। কিন্তু ইসলায়েল নিজেকে এতই শক্তিশালি ভাবতে শুরু করে যে, সকল আন্তর্জাতিক আইনকে বৃদ্ধাগুলি দেখিয়ে তারা চালাতে থাকে তাদের দখলদারিত্ব।
সাধারণ ফিলিস্তিনির মধ্যে অসন্তোষ চরম আকার ধারণ করতে থাকে। সেই জনরোষ শুরু হয়েছিল আরো আগে। সেই সময় ১৯৬৪ সালে জন্ম নেয় হয় পিএলও বা ‘প্যালেস্টাইন লিবারেশন অর্গানাইজেশন’। দখলদার ইসরায়েলের কাছ থেকে নিজের মাতৃভুমিকে মুক্ত করাই এই রাজনৈতিক সংগঠনটির একমাত্র লক্ষ্য।
তবে জাতিসংঘের ১৯৪৮ সালের ভূবন্টন সিদ্ধান্তকে মেনে নেয় পিএলও। চলে কুটনৈতিক আলোচনা। আন্তর্জাতিক সম্প্রদায় ফিলিস্তিনিদের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে মানতে শুরু করে পিএলওকে। আলোচনা ও ছুটাছুটি চলতে থাকে কিন্তু কাজের কাজ কিছু হয় না।
১৯৭৩ ইসরায়েল-আরব আবারও যুদ্ধ বাধে।‘ইয়ম কিপুর’ বা ‘রমজান যুদ্ধ’ নামে পরিচিত এই যুদ্ধ। রাশিয়া এবং আমেরিকা তাদের মিত্রদের সহায়তা করতে থাকলে সারা বিশ্বে অস্থিরতা তৈরি হয়।
ফলাফল যা দাঁড়ায় তা হল, ক্যাম্প ডেডিড চুক্তি সম্পন্ন হয় ১৯৭৮ সালে । মিশর ফিরে পায় তাদের সিনাই উপত্যাকা, বিনিময়ে প্রথম আরব রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে মিশর স্বীকৃতি দেয় ইসলায়েলকে ।
ইন্তিফাদা’র শুরু :
কয়েক বছরের মধ্যে সাধারণ ফিলিস্তিনিদের গণবিস্ফোরণ ঘটে। ১৯৮৭ সালে প্রথম ‘ইন্তিফাদা’ বা গণঅভূত্থান দেখা দেয়। লক্ষ লক্ষ ফিলিস্তিনি রাস্তায় নেমে আসে নিপীড়ন ও দখলদারির বিরুদ্ধে। শিশু, তরুণ, যুবকরা শুধু পাথর ছুড়ে নাস্তানাবুদ করতে থাকে ইসরায়েলি সৈন্যদের। নিরস্ত্র ফিলিস্তিনিদের এমন অসীম সাহস আর মনোবল দেখে নড়েচড়ে ওঠে গোটা বিশ্ব। ভয় পেয়ে যায় দখলদার ইসরায়েলও।
এবার গঠিত হয় ফিলিস্তিনিদের ইসলামিক রাজনৈতিক সংগঠন ‘হামাস’। যারা সরাসরি ইসরায়েল রাষ্ট্রের অস্তিত্ব অস্বীকার করে। পিএলও কতটা নরম, হামাস কতটা কঠোর।সাধারণ ফিলিস্তিনের ‘হামাস’কে সমর্থন করতে থাকে। ইসরায়েল কিছুটা নমনীয় হতে শুরু করে।
আমেরিকার মধ্যস্ততায় ১৯৯৩ সালে অসলো চুক্তি হয় ইসরাইল ও পিএলও এর মধ্যে। ইসরায়েল প্রথম কোন ফিলিস্তিনি প্রতিনিধিকে স্বীকৃতি দিতে বাধ্য হয়। ফিলিস্তিনি নেতা হিসেবে জনপ্রিয় হয়ে ওঠেন ইয়াসির আরাফাত। চুক্তি অনুযায়ী ইসরায়েল পর্যায়ক্রমে তাদের দখলকৃত এলাকা ছেড়ে আসার প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়।
তবে অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সময়ে ভুমি নিয়ন্ত্রণ নিয়ে নতুন জটিলতা দেখা দেয়। শর্ত অনুযায়ি অধিকৃত ভুমি নিয়ন্ত্রিত হবে তিনভাবে। অঞ্চল ‘এ’ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করবে ফিলিস্তিনিরা, অঞ্চল ‘বি’ নিয়ন্ত্রণে করবে দুপক্ষ মিলে এবং অঞ্চল ‘সি’ পুরোপুরি দখলে থাকবে ইসরায়েলের ।
তিন নম্বর অঞ্চলটি ছিল পশ্চিম তীরে যেখানে পানির যোগান বেশি এবং কৃষিকাজ ভালো হয়। এই সুবিধাজনক জমিগুলো ইসরাইলিরা নিতে চাইলে সাধারণ ফিলিস্তিনিরা অস্বীকৃতি জানায়। আবারো সংঘর্ষ বাধে।
শুরু হয় দ্বিতীয় ‘ইন্তিহাদা’। ২০০০-২০০৫ সালে ভয়াবহ এই গণরোষে রক্তাত্ব হয় ফিলিস্তিন। ৫ হাজার ফিলিস্তিনি আর ১ হাজারের বেশি ইসরায়েলি নিহত হয় সেই সংঘর্ষে।
২০০৬ সাল থেকে গাজায় অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে আছে ২১ লাখ মানুষ আর পশ্চিম তীরে অবৈধভাবে ভুমি দখল করে যাচ্ছে ইসরাইল ।
২০১৫ সালে গোটা জেরুজালেমকে ইসরাইলের রাজধানী হিসেব ঘোষণা করা হয় ।এর ফলে ব্যাপক ক্ষোভ জন্ম নেয় ফিলিস্তিনিদের মধ্যে ।
২০০৬ সাল থেকে গাজায় অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে আছে ২১ লাখ মানুষ আর পশ্চিম তীরে অবৈধভাবে ভুমি দখল করে যাচ্ছে ইসরাইল ।
২০২১ সালের ৬ থেকে ২১ মে পর্যন্ত হামাস আর ইসরাইলের যুদ্ধে নিহত হয় ২১৬ জন ফিলিস্তিনি আর ১২ জন ইসরাইলি। ২১ মে যুদ্ধ বিরতিতে সম্মত হয় হামাস ও ইসরাইল।
সবশেষ ৭ অক্টোবর, ২০২৩
হামাস এক নজীরবিহীণ হামলা চালিয়েছে ইসরাইলে। ১৯৭৩ সালের আরব-ইসরাইল যুদ্ধের পর এটিই সবচেয়ে বড় ঘটণা।
মাত্র ২০ মিনিটে ৫০০০ হাজার রকেট ছোড়ে। ইসরাইলের সর্বাধুনিক প্রতিরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা ‘আয়রন ডোমের’ অভেদ্যের ইমেজকে চুর্ণবিচুর্ন করে দেয়।
সাথে প্যারগ্লাডাইডার দিয়ে আকাশপথে ইসরাইলের ভুখন্ডে ঢুকে, একটি সঙ্গীত অনুষ্ঠানে ব্যাপক হত্যাকান্ড চালায় হামাস। সীমান্ত বেষ্টনী বুলডোজার দিয়ে ভেঙ্গে ইসরাইলে ঢুকে তাদের জিম্মি করে নিয়ে আসে যোদ্ধারা।
যুদ্ধে পঞ্চম দিন পর্যন্ত ইসরাইলি নিহত হয়েছে ১২০০ আর ফিলিস্তিনি নিহত হয়েছ ৯৫০। ইসরাইল ও হামাস দুপক্ষই যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করেছে। যুদ্ধ চলমান।
ব্যাপক হত্যাকান্ডের আশংকা করা হচ্ছে। ইসরাইলিরা অনেকে দেশ ছেড়ে পালাচ্ছে। আর গাজায় ২.৬ লক্ষ মানুষ বাস্তুচুত্য হয়েছে ইতিমধ্যে। আবারো এক বড় মানবিক বিপর্যের মুখে ইসরাইল -ফিলিস্তিনির মানুষ।
বর্তমান ফিলিস্তিন নেতৃত্ব :
২০০৪ সালে ফিলিস্তিনিদের স্বপ্ন অসমাপ্ত রেখেই মারা যায় ইয়াসির আরাফাত। দুরুত্ব তৈরি হয় ফিলিস্তিনির সক্রিয় দুই রাজনৈতিক দল হামাস ও ফাতাহর মধ্যে ।
২০০৬ এ নির্বাচনে জয়ী হয় হামাস। আন্তর্জাতিক চাপে সরকার গঠন করতে পারেনা তারা। ইসরায়েল, আমেরিকা, ইউরোপ সন্ত্রাসী সংগঠন আখ্যা দেয় ‘হামাস’কে। চীন, রাশিয়া, ইরান এর বিরোধীতা করে।
২০০৭ সালে ফাতাহকে হটিয়ে দিয়ে গাজার নিয়ন্ত্রণ নেয় ‘হামাস’। তারপর থেকে পশ্চিম তীরে চলছে দুর্বল মাহমুদ আব্বাসের ‘ফাতাহ’র শাসন আর গাজা শাসন করছে ইসমাইল হানিয়ার নেতৃত্বে কঠোর ‘হামাস’ । এক দেশ শাসন করছে দুই দল।
এখন গাজা চারিদিক দিয়ে অবোরোধ করে রেখেছে ইসরায়েল।আর পশ্চিম তীরে একের পর এক বসতি স্থাপন করে যাচ্ছে দখলদারেরা। বিভক্ত নেতৃত্বের সুযোগ কাজে লাগাচ্ছে ইসরা্য়েল। সংকটে আর দূর্ভোগে মরছে সাধারণ ফিলিস্তিনিরা।
