আমি তখন কেবল ‘সময়’ টেলিভিশনের সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছি। টেলিভিশন পরীক্ষামুলুক সম্প্রচারে তখন। ‘মুক্তিযুদ্ধ’ আর ‘ভাষা আন্দোলন’ নিয়ে ছোট ছোট কিছু ফিলার বানাচ্ছে ফৌজিয়া আপু। তিনি কাজটিতে তার সাথে আমাকেও কেন নিলেন জানিনা। কিন্তু কাজটির সাথে যুক্ত হতে পেরে এক বিপুলা পৃথিবীর সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছিলাম সেইদিন। কত বড় বড় মানুষকে যে কয়েকদিনের মধ্যেই কাছ থেকে দেখেছি, যা আমার আগের পুরো জীবনে দেখিনি।
আনিসুজ্জামানের স্যারের বাড়ি গেলাম ফৌজিয়া আপুর সাথেই। তার ইন্টারভিউ করতে। একটা ঢোলা পায়জামা আর পাঞ্জাবী পরেছেন স্যার। এই পোষাকে তার মত আর কাউকে অত সুন্দর লাগেনা। কি ধীর, স্থির, সহজ, প্রজ্ঞাবান একজন মানুষ! স্যার মনে হয় ছিলেন অজাতশত্রু! সবাই পছন্দ করে এমন মানুষ কতজন আছে ! স্যার ছিলেন সেই অল্প কয়েকজন মানুষের মধ্যে একজন ।
বাসার কোথায় ইন্টারভিউ করবো সেটা খুঁজতেই আমি এক বিষ্ময়ের সামনে হাজির হয়েছিলাম সেইদিন ।বাড়িটা এমনিতেই বেশ বড়। সেই বাসার একদিকে স্যারের লেখার রুম। রুমে ঢুকার পর মনে হলো এক বইয়ের সমুদ্রের মধ্যে এসে পড়েছি। আক্ষরিক অর্থেই পুরো ঘর ভর্তি বই। ছাদ থেকে মেঝে পর্যন্ত বই তার মাঝখানে একটি লেখার টেবিল, তার উপরে একটা লাইট। এত সুন্দর ঘর আমি এর আগে কখনো দেখিনি। আমার কাছে মনে হয়েছিল এক ‘স্বপ্নময় ঘর’।
তখন ভেবেছিলাম যদি আমার কোন দিন সামর্থ্য হয় তাহলে এমন স্বপ্নের একটি ঘর আমি বানাবো যাতে ছাদ থেকে মেঝে পর্যন্ত ডুবে থাকবে বইয়ে আর এর মাঝখানে থাকবে একটা ছোট লেখার টেবিল। স্বপ্নের ঘর।
কাজ শেষে তিনি আমাদের বাখরখানি না খেয়ে আসতে দেননি। ছবিও তুলেছিলাম কিন্তু হারিয়ে ফেলেছি। স্যার আপনার সাথে কোন ছবি নাই কিন্তু আপনার সেই ‘স্বপ্নময় ঘরটা’ মগজে গেঁথে আছে। এই বিপুলা পৃথিবীতে এই স্বপ্নটুকুই সম্বল।
আপনি যেখানে গেলেন সেখানে ভালো থাকবেন। এই নিদান করোনাকাল একদিন মুছে যাবে। আপনি বেঁচে থাকবেন অনেকের স্বপ্নের বিপুলা পৃথিবীতে। বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা স্যার।
