২৬ ডিসেম্বর হয়ে গেল ২০১৯ সালের শেষ সূর্যগ্রহণ। পৃথিবীর মানুষ ১৭২ বছর পর এমন বলয় সূর্যগ্রহণ উপভোগ করলো। সবচেয়ে ভালোভাবে এই সূর্যগ্রহণ দেখতে পেয়েছে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত ও সৌদিআরবের মানুষেরা। পৃথিবীর অন্য প্রান্তের মানুষেরাও বাদ যাননি মহাজাগতিক এই সৌন্দর্য্য উপভোগ থেকে। আমরাও ঢাকা থেকে আংশিক সুর্যগ্রহণ দেখতে পেয়েছি।
ঢাকায় সূর্যগ্রহণ শুরু হবার সময় ছিল ৯ টার একটু পরে । আমরা ঠিক সময় বাড়ির ছাদে পৌছে গেলাম । সূর্যগ্রহণ দেখার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় বিশেষ কোন ব্যবস্থা আমাদের ছিল না। তবু সূর্যগ্রহণের সময় ঢাকার আকাশ ও শহরটা কেমন হয় তাই দেখতে চেয়েছি আমার ।
গত কয়েকদিন থেকে শীতের কুয়াশায় কাবু হয়ে আছে ঢাকা। আকাশে অনেক মেঘ। সূর্য একবার বের হচ্ছে আরেকবার ঢেকে যাচ্ছে। আজকের সকালে তবু কিছুটা আলো আছে।
যদিও বিশেষ চশমা ছাড়া এই সূর্যগ্রহণ দেখা ঝুকিপূর্ণ তবু আগ্রহীরা নিজস্ব ব্যবস্থা এই সৌন্দর্য্য দেখার চেষ্ঠা করছি কালো চশমা আর এক্সরে পেপারের মধ্যে দিয়ে ।
এরই মধ্যে সুর্যগ্রহণ শুরু হয়ে গেছে । সূর্যের একটি অংশ কালো হয়ে গেছে । অনেকটা সূর্য দেখতে অনেকটা চাদের মতো হয়ে গেছে । মেঘ আর কুয়াশায় পুরো স্পষ্ট না হলেও সূর্যগ্রহণ বোঝা যাচ্ছে । তবে ঢাকার আকাশ পুরো পুরি অন্ধকার হয়ে যায়নি।স ক্যামেরায় সেই বিরল দৃশ্য ধরা খুবই মুশকিল ।
এছাড়া আমরা নিরাপদ পিনহোল পদ্ধতিতে সুর্যগ্রহণ দেখার চেষ্টা করলাম। কিন্তু তাতে সফল হলাম না ।
ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ জেনেও রোদচশমা আর কার্বন পেপারেই অনেকেই দেখে নিয়েছে ঢাকার সূর্যগ্রহণ । এবার আমরা জানালার থাই গ্লাসে পড়া সুর্যের প্রতিবিম্বতেও এই দৃশ্য দেখার চেষ্টা করেছি । সবকটি পদ্ধতিই ঝুকিপূর্ণ তবুও এই বিরল সূর্যগ্রহণ দেখার লোভ সংবরণ করতে পারিনি ।
ভালো পদ্ধতি থাকলে অথবা আবহাওয়া ভালো থাকলে হয়ত আরো ভালোভাবে এই দৃশ্য আমার দেখতে পেতাম। আংশিক হলেও ১৭২ বছর পর বিরল এই সূর্যগ্রহণ ঢাকা থেকে দেখার অভিজ্ঞতাও কম নয় ।
