ভাবুন তো একটি চিত্রকর্মের দাম সর্বোচ্চ কত টাকা হতে পারে ? ১ কোটি, ২ কোটি ১০ কোটি? নাকি ১০০ কোটি টাকা। না আপাকে আরো অনেক বেশি ভাবতে হবে । ১শ ২ শ কোটি নয় প্রায় চার হাজার কোটি টাকায় বিক্রি হয়েছে একটি চিত্রকর্ম। কি অবাক হচ্ছেন? অবাক হলেও এটাই সত্যি । কিন্তু কার আকা ছবি এটি ? কে কিনল এত দাম দিয়ে ?
লিওনার্দো দ্য ভিঞ্চিকে হচ্ছেন পৃথিবীর শ্রেষ্ট চিত্রশিল্পীদের একজন। তার হাতে আঁকা এই ছবিটির নাম তিনি রেখেছিলেন ‘সালভাতোর মুন্ডি’ যা অর্থ ‘বিশ্বের পরিত্রাতা’। আর এই ছবিটি ২০১৭ সালে বিক্রি হয়েছে ৪৫ কোটি ডলারে বাংলাদেশের টাকায় যা ৩ হাজার ৮০০ কোটি টাকার সমান । এ্টি এ যাবত কালের সবচেয়ে বেশি দামে বিক্রিত চিত্রকর্ম ।
চিত্রকর্মটিতে দেখা যায় যিশু খ্রিস্ট এক হাত উত্তোলিত অবস্থায় অপর হাতে একটি কাচের গোলক ধরে আছেন। ক্রিস্টিজ নামের একটি নিলামকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান নিউইয়র্কে ছবিটি নিলামে তোলার মাত্র ২০ মিনিটেই দাম ঠিক হয় । যিনি শিল্পকর্মটি কিনেছেন, তার নাম জানা যায়নি। তিনি টেলিফোনের মাধ্যমে নিলামে অংশ নিয়েছিলেন। নিলামে শিল্পকর্মটির চূড়ান্ত দাম নির্ধারিত হয় ৪০ কোটি ডলার। তাতে ফিসসহ এর মোট মূল্য ৪৫ কোটি ডলার মানে প্রায় ৩৮০০ কোটি টাকা।

ধারনা করা হয় চিত্রকর্মটি কমপক্ষে ৫০০ বছরের পুরনো। পেইন্টিংটি ১৫০৫ সালের পর কোনো এক সময় আঁকা হয়েছিল বলে অনেকে মনে করেন।
লিওনার্দো দ্য ভিঞ্চি ১৫১৯ সালে মারা যান। তার আঁকা মাত্র২০টিরও কম চিত্রকর্ম এখন পৃথিবীতে টিকে আছে। আর এই ‘সালভাতোর মুন্ডি’ শিল্পকর্মটি এতদিন কারও ব্যক্তিগত সংগ্রহে ছিলবলে ধারনা করা হচ্ছে।
মজার ব্যাপর হলো এর আগেও শিল্পকর্মটি নিলামে উঠেছিল। ১৯৫৮ সালে লন্ডনে এ শিল্পকর্মটি ৬০ ডলারে বিক্রি হয়েছিল। ওই সময় অনেকে মনে করতো শিল্পকর্মটি লিওনার্দো নিজে আঁকেননি। এটি তার কোনো অনুসারীর আঁকা।
তবে নিলামঘরপ্রতিষ্টান ক্রিস্টি জোর দিয়ে বলেছে, শিল্পকর্মটি লিওনার্দো দ্য ভিঞ্চির নিজের আঁকা। বিংশ শতাব্দীতে এ শিল্পকর্ম উদ্ধার করাকে বড় ঘটনা হিসেবে অভিহিত করেছে সংস্থাটি।
একসময় মাত্র ৫ হাজার টাকায় বিক্রি হওয়া চিত্রকর্মটি ৬০ বছর পর বিক্রি হলো ৩৮০০ কোটি টাকায় । না জানি আরো কত দামে এই ছবি বিক্রি হবে এর পর !!
