‘হাট্টিমা টিম টিম’ ৫২ লাইনের এক অদ্ভুত সুন্দর ছড়া

ছোটবেলার একটা ছড়া এখনও হটাৎ মাথায় ঘোরাঘুরি করে। সুন্দর ছন্দে লেখা ছড়াটির শেষ চার লাইনে এতটাই মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম যে এর আগের লাইনগুলো ভালো করে পড়াই হয়নি । বড় হবার পর যখন পুরো ছড়াটি পড়লাম তখন আরো বেশি মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম । সেই ছড়াটি হল ‘হাট্টিমা টিম টিম’। নামটির মধ্যে কি এক জাদুকরি ছন্দ আছে যা উচ্চারণ করলেই এখনও এক ভালোলাগা কাজ করে ।

এই ‘হাট্টিমা টিম টিম’ একটা অদ্ভুত প্রাণী। প্রাণীটি ডিম পাড়ে, তবে বাড়িতে না মাঠে । তাদের মাথায় আবার শিং আছে । মাথায় শিং ওয়ালা কোন প্রাণী বাস্তবে কি ডিম পাড়ে ? জানি না, ছোটবেলায় কখনো জানতেও ইচ্ছে করেনি। এমনিতেই শুধু ভালো লাগতো ছড়াটি। কোন কারন না খুঁজে শুধু সুর আর ছন্দে মুগ্ধ হয়ে পার করে দিয়েছি কয়েক যুগ ।

ছড়াটির  শেষ কয়েকলাইন এতটা জনপ্রিয় যে অনেকেই হয়ত ভুলে যাই এটি ৫২ লাইনের একটি বেশ বড় ছড়া ।  পুরো ছড়াটিতে  ‘হাট্টিমা টিম টিমে’র জন্ম ইতিহাসটি বেশ ভালো করে লেখা আছে।

ছড়াকার জানাচ্ছেন, ট্টাটুকে তিনি একদিন শিম আনতে বাজারে পাঠিয়েছিলেন কিন্তু সে মনের ভুলে নিয়ে এসেছে এক বিশাল ডিম। তারপর সেই ডিম নিয়ে এক বিশাল কান্ড। শেষে ডিম ফেটে যে প্রাণীটি বের হলো তার নাম ‘হাট্টিমা টিম টিম’। তাদের মাথা শিং আছে।  ডিমটি বাজার থেকে আসা এবং পুরোপুরি জন্ম নেবার আগ পর্যন্ত যে কান্ডকারখানা করে তাই নিয়ে এই মজার ছড়াটি । গত কয়েক দশক ধরে  ছোট বড় সকলের মনে অদ্ভুত  ভালোলাগার এক বাসা বেঁধে আছে ছড়াটি ।

১৯৬২ সালে রোকনুজ্জামান খান যিনি দাদা ভাই নামে সবচেয়ে বেশি পরিচিত তিনি এই অসম্ভব সুন্দর ছড়াটি রচনা করেন । নিচে পুরো ছড়াটি দিয়ে দিলাম । পড়ে দেখতে পারেন ।

টাট্টুকে আজ আনতে দিলাম

বাজার থেকে শিম

মনের ভুলে আনল কিনে

মস্ত একটা ডিম।

বলল এটা ফ্রি পেয়েছে

নেয়নি কোনো দাম

ফুটলে বাঘের ছা বেরোবে

করবে ঘরের কাম।

সন্ধ্যা সকাল যখন দেখো

দিচ্ছে ডিমে তা

ডিম ফুটে আজ বের হয়েছে

লম্বা দুটো পা।

উল্টে দিয়ে পানির কলস

উল্টে দিয়ে হাড়ি

আজব দু’পা বেড়ায় ঘুরে

গাঁয়ের যত বাড়ি।

সপ্তা বাদে ডিমের থেকে

বের হল দুই হাত

কুপি জ্বালায় দিনের শেষে

যখন নামে রাত।

উঠোন ঝাড়ে বাসন মাজে

করে ঘরের কাম

দেখলে সবাই রেগে মরে

বলে এবার থাম।

চোখ না থাকায় এ দুর্গতি

ডিমের কি দোষ ভাই

উঠোন ঝেড়ে ময়লা ধুলায়

ঘর করে বোঝাই।

বাসন মেজে সামলে রাখে

ময়লা ফেলার ভাঁড়ে

কাণ্ড দেখে টাট্টু বারি

নিজের মাথায় মারে।

শিঙের দেখা মিলল ডিমে

মাস খানিকের মাঝে

কেমনতর ডিম তা নিয়ে

বসলো বিচার সাঁঝে।

গাঁয়ের মোড়ল পান চিবিয়ে

বলল বিচার শেষ

এই গাঁয়ে ডিম আর রবে না

তবেই হবে বেশ।

মনের দুখে ঘর ছেড়ে ডিম

চলল একা হেঁটে

গাছের সাথে ধাক্কা খেয়ে

ডিম গেলো হায় ফেটে

গাঁয়ের মানুষ একসাথে সব;

সবাই ভয়ে হিম

ডিম ফেটে যা বের হল তা

হাট্টিমাটিম টিম।

হাট্টিমাটিম টিম-
