কারবালা : যুদ্ধের সারাদিন (৩য় পর্ব)

পারভেজ সেলিম ।।

 

আরবী মহররম মাসের ১০ তারিখ। পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে এক নৃশংসতম হত্যাকান্ড সংঘটিত হয় ইরাকের কারবালায় প্রান্তরে। এইদিন নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করা মোহাম্মাদ (সা.) এর প্রাণ প্রিয় নাতি ইমাম হোসাইন ও তার ৭২ জন সঙ্গীকে।

 

ইসলামের ইতিহাসের সবচেয়ে বর্বোরিত এবং জঘন্যতম ঘটনা ধরা হয় এই কারবালার যুদ্ধকে !  আজ প্রায় সাড়ে তেরশ বছর পরও সেই শোক বুকে ধারণ করে আছে মুসলমানেরা। শিয়া মুসলমানেরা নিজেদের রক্ত দিয়ে সেই শোকের মাতম করে যাচ্ছে এখনও । কিন্তু কেন এই যুদ্ধ ? কারা কিভাবে এই নৃশংস যুদ্ধ শুরু করলো ?

 

সাল ১০ অক্টোবর, ৬৮০ খ্রী.। ৬১ হিজরি। কারবালার ময়দানে ইমাম হোসাইন ও তার ৭২ জন সঙ্গীর সাথে ইয়াজিদের বাহিনীর ৩০ হাজার সৈন্যে সাথে  হয় এই যুদ্ধ। কারন মদ্যপ ইয়াজিদকে  খলিফা মানতে নারাজ  হোসাইন। ইয়াজিদের বিশাল বাহিনীর কাছে নত স্বীকার করতে অপরাগ ইসলামের সাহসী এই যোদ্ধা । নিশ্চিত মৃত্যু জেনেও সত্যের পক্ষে দাঁড়িয়ে সেদিন পরিবারের সকলের সাথে নিজের জীবন উৎস্বর্গ করেছিলেন হোসাইন। তিন পর্বের ধারাবাহিকের আজ তৃতীয় ও শেষ পর্ব

১০ মহররম : এক ভয়াবহ নৃশংসতার দিন

 

আগের রাতে অনুসারিরদের সাথে একটি ভাষনে হোসাইন জানান  যে কেউ চাইলে যার তার দল ত্যাগ করে চলে যেতে পারে। কিন্তু তার সঙ্গীরা কেউ তাকে ত্যাগ করেননা। হোসেইনের সাথে যুদ্ধে জীবন বাজি রাখে সবাই ।আর পুরো রাত আল্লার ইবাদতে মশগুল থকে সকালে যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হলো ।

 

১০ই  মহররম সকালে শুরু হয় যুদ্ধ। শেষ হয় সূর্যাস্তের আগে। একদিনের যুদ্ধ কারবালার যুদ্ধ ।

 

হোসাইন তার দুই সেনাপতি নিয়োগ করে দুইদিকে আর তাবু সামলানো দায়িত্ব দেয় ভাই আব্বাসকে। ৩২ টি ঘোড়া আর ৪০ জন পদাতিক সৈন্য  ছিল হোসাইনের বাহিনীতে। আর ইয়াজিদের প্রায় ৩০ হাজার সৈন্য ।

 

যুদ্ধ শুরুর আগে ইয়াজিদ বাহিনীকে পক্ষ ত্যাগ করে আল্লাহ ও রসুল মুহাম্মাদের পক্ষে যোগ দেবার জন্য বলে । এবং তাতে ইয়াজিদের পক্ষ ত্যাগ করে হোসেইনের পক্ষ চলে আসে আল হুর ইবনে ইয়াজিদ ও তার বাহিনী ।

 

এদিকে ইবনে সাদকে বাদ দিয়ে সীমারকে যুদ্ধের সেনাপতি  নিয়োগ করে ইয়াজিদ। ইবনে সাদ প্রথম তীর ছুড়ে যুদ্ধে শুরু করে। হোসাইনের ডান দিকে বাহিনী যখন অসীম সাহসে যুদ্ধ করছিল তখন সরাসরি বুকে তীর মেরে যুদ্ধের চুক্তি ভঙ্গ করে সীমার  এবং পরাস্ত হয় হোসাইনের বাহিনী।

 

যুদ্ধ শুরু :

এরপর শুরু হয় একক যুদ্ধ। একে একে তার সকল অনুসারিরা যখন শহীদ হন তখন নিজের পরিবারের সদস্যরা যুদ্ধের জন্য ময়দানে আসে । হোসাইনের ছেলে আলী আকবর একক যুদ্ধে পরাস্ত হবার আগে কাপিয়ে দেয় ইয়াজিদের বাহিনীকে। আর ইমাম হাসানের ছেলে কাসিম বীরের মতো যুদ্ধ করে প্রথম শহীদ হন ।

 

পানির অভাবে নারী পুরুষ শিশুরা পিপাসায় আর্তনাদ করতে থাকে। তাদের মুখের দিকে চেয়ে ফোরাত নদীতে পানি আনতে  যান ভাই আব্বাস। এই অসীম সাহসী আব্বাসকে কেউই থামাতে পারেনা ইয়াজিদের বাহিনী ভেদ করে সে নদী থেকে । কিন্তু ফেরার পথে প্রথমে তার ডান হাত কাটা পড়লে বাম হাত দিয়েই যুদ্ধ চালাতে থাকে। শেষ পর্যন্ত শহীদ হন আব্বাস ইবনে আলী ।

 

৬ মাসের পুত্র শিশু আসগর হাতে নিয়ে মযদানে আসে হোসাইন । জালিমদের দিকে প্রশ্ন ছুড়ে দেয় কেন তারা যুদ্ধ করছে ? কি অপরাধ এই শিশুটির । একটি তীর এসে আসগরের দেহ রক্তাত্ব করে দেয় । পিতার হাসেই শিশু আসগর  শহীদ হন ।

 

 অসুস্থ পুত্র জয়নাল ছাড়া বাকি সব পুরুষ নিহত হলে একাই যুদ্ধের  জন্য প্রস্তত হয় হোসাইন।বিদায় মুহুতে  মেয়ে জয়নব আর পিতা হোসাইনের বেদনায় ভারি হয়ে ওঠে পুরো কারবালা।

 

ইমাম হোসাইনের যুদ্ধ :

 শুরু হয় হোসাইনের যুদ্ধ। অকুতোভয় বীরের মতো যুদ্ধে একের পর এক সৈন্যেকে পরাজিত করতে থাকে হোসাইন। হোসেইন যখন অপ্রতিরোধ হয়ে ইয়াজিদের বাহিনীকে পরাজিত করে সামনে আগাতে থাকে  ঠিক তখন একের পর এক তীর এসে বিদ্ধ করতে থাকে তার ঘোড়ার শরীর। একটি তীর হোসা্‌ইনের উরুতেও এসে লাগে। হোসাইন মাটিতে পড়ে যান। এরপর আরো শক্তি আর সাহসের সাথে যুদ্ধ চালতে থাকে হোসাইন। যেন এক আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারো কাছে মাথা নত করতে জানে না মুসলমানেরা। জীবন তুচ্ছ  অন্যায়ের সাথে আপোষ করার চাইতে।

 

একেরপর এক তীর এক বিধে যাচ্ছিল হোসাইনের শরীর একটি তীর একে কলিজায় বেধে যায়। হোসাইন মাটিতে লুটিয়ে পড়ে। ইয়াজিদের বাহিনী এসে ঘিরে ধরে হোসেইনকে। তবে কেউ তাকে আঘাত করতে কেউই সাহস পাচ্ছিল না। তারা কেউই চাচ্ছিল না মোহাম্মদ সা. এই প্রিয়পাত্র হোসাইনকে আঘাত করে নিজের হাত রক্তাত্ব করতে।

 

এরই মধ্যে প্রথম এসে হোসাইনকে আঘাত করে  সীমার বিন যুল জওসান। তার গলায়  নির্দয়ভাবে ছুরি চালিয়ে  মস্তক কেটে ধড়কে আলাদা করে ফেলে সীমার। কারো কারো মতে এই নিকৃষ্ঠ ব্যক্তিটি ছিলেন সিনান বিন আনাস আন্ নাখঈ। এরপর মৃত দেহটির ইপর চালানো হয় ভয়াবহ রকমের নৃশংসতা। হোসাইনের শরীরে ৩৩ টি বর্শা ও ৩৪ টি তরবারির দাগ পাওয়া যায়। ৫৪ বছর বয়সে কারবালায় শহীদ হন ইসলামের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ যোদ্ধা ইমাম হোসাইন।

 

যুদ্ধ শেষে  নৃশংসতা :

হোসেনর কাটা মস্তকে বর্ষার গেথে ইয়াজিদের কাছে পাঠানো হয়। এই ভয়াবহ বিভৎসতায় ইয়াজিদেরও বুক কেপে ওঠে। কাটা মাথা ফেরত পাঠালে কারবালায় দাফন করা হয় ইমাম হোসেনকে। শিশু ও নারীদের বন্ধি করে দামেস্কে পাঠাননো হয়। তাবুতে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেয়া হয়। যুদ্ধে ইয়াজিদের ৮৮ জন সৈন্য নিহত হয়।আর  হোসেনের পক্ষের একমাত্র জয়নাল ছাড়া সকল পুরুষ মোট ৭২ জনই মারা যায়।

 

ইমাম হোসাইনের এমন নৃসংশ হত্যার প্রতিবাদে চারিদিকে বিদ্রোহের আগুন দেখা দেয়। মাত্র তিন বছরের মাথায় ইয়াজিদ ক্ষমতা হারান এবং তার সঙ্গীদের হত্যা করা হয়।

  397. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and
    gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
    her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
