নীল মৌমাছি ।।
ঝালকাঠি একটি দক্ষিনের বরিশাল বিভাগের একটি ছোট জেলা। এর আয়তন ৭৫৮ বর্গকিলোমিটার । দেশের সবচেয়ে বড় জেলা রাঙ্গামাটির চেয়ে ৮ গুন ছোট ।
জীবনানন্দ দাসের ‘আবার আসিবো ফিরে সেই ধাঁনসিড়িটির তীর’ সেই বিখ্যাত ধানসিঁড়ি নদী এই জেলায় অবস্থিত। এই জেলাতেই ছিল কবির মামার বাড়ি। এছাড়া সুগন্ধা ও বিষখালি নামের দুটি নদী আছে এই জেলায়।
এই জেলার উপজেলা মাত্র ৪ টি। সদর, নলছিঠি, রাজাপুর, কাঠালিয়া। প্রায় ৭ লক্ষ লোকের বসবাস । শিক্ষার হার ৬৮%
ব্রিটিশ সৈন্যবাহিনী দ্বারা ১৭ জন মুসলমান মারা হয়েছিল এই জেলায়। এরপর ১৮৮২ সালে দাঙ্গা নিরোসনের জন্য পুলিশ ফাঁড়ি তৈরী হয়। পরে ১৮৭৫ সালে পৌরসভায় উন্নতি হয় ঝালকাঠি ।
নদী বন্দরের জন্য ইউরোপিয়ানদের জন্য খুবই আকর্ষনীয় ছিল জেলাটি।এ জন্য ইস্ট ইন্ডিয়া কোম্পানী, ডাচ, ফরাসিরা এখানে ব্যবসাকেন্দ্র খুলে বসে। এক সময় ব্যবসার গুরুত্বের ঝালকাঠিকে বলা হত দ্বিতীয় কলকাতা।
পৌরসভা হবার ১১০ বছর পর ১৯৮৪ সালে ঝালকাঠি আলাদা জেলা হিসেবে আত্নপ্রকাশ করে ।
বাংলার বাঘ নামে খ্যাত একে ফজলুল হকের বাড়ি এই জেলায়। এছাড়া এই সময় প্রবীন রাজনীতিবিদ আমির হোসেন আমু এই জেলার সন্তান। এছাড়া কবি কামিনী রায় সহ অনেক কবি সাহিত্যিকের বাড়ী এই ঝালকাঠিতেই।
জেলার রাজাপুর সাতুরিয়া জমিদার বাড়ি ও কীর্ত্তিপাশা জমিদার বাড়িতে এখনও পর্যটকদের ভিড় লেগে থাকে। আর ঝালকাঠির ভাসমান পেয়ারা বাজার তো এখন জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্রে পরিনত হয়েছে। এখানকার পেয়ার বাগান ও ছোট ছোট নৌকায় বসা পেয়ারার বাজার দেখতে দেশ বিদেশ থেকে নানান পর্যটক আসে ।

I have been browsing online more than 4 hours
today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers
made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful
than ever before.
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% positive. Any
recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
